For Educators

Sourcemap is a free, online tool for educators in supply chain and life cycle assessment.  This page features examples of how educators are using Sourcemap.

An educator’s package is currently in progress and will be posted here when available.    Meanwhile, we offer workshops on Life Cycle Assessment using Sourcemap.  Scroll down below for more details.

Design Education using Sourcemap

Future Craft is an MIT product design curriculum centered around social issues, with environmental concerns at the forefront. In addition to proposing new sustainable products, students can investigate the origins and impacts of existing goods using Sourcemap.

Using Sourcemap along with a web presence such as a blog or online portfolio allows students to develop a nuanced understanding of the priorities for sustainable design.
