In an effort to ensure that Sourcemap’s calculations for CO2 impact are comparable with other websites that calculate carbon footprints of passenger flights, we ran calculations for 4 websites with “carbon calculators” for flights. Here are the results including a number of statisical metrics including the mean, standard deviation, and the five number summary for three trips of varying distances.
